Our Beliefs

• We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. (2 Tim 3:16-17, 1 Peter
• We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. (Duet 6:4-6, John 1:1, Acts 5:1-6)
• We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. (Is 59:2, Rom 3:10,23)
• We believe that God sent His only Son, Jesus, into the world, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully human in one person, He is humanity as God intended us to be. Jesus was anointed as God’s Messiah He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again on the third day to prove His victory over sin, death and satan and empowers us for life. The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man and is the only One who can reconcile us to God. (John 1:1, 14)
• We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. (John 3:1-10, Acts 2:
• We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. 

The Holy Spirit not only empowers us for living life but also gives us spiritual gifts as he sees fit and enables us to use all the spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ and demonstrating His power to the world. (Acts 1:5, 8, 1 Cor 12-14)

• We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His plans and purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live our community, city, country and the world. (Jer 29:11, Eph 2:8-10)
• We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and Spirit empowered lives in order to help others more effectively. (Is 53:1-
• We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23, 6:23)
• We believe in the one, holy, universal Church. All who repent of their sins and confess Jesus as Lord and Saviour are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and form the living Body of Christ, Jesus Christ being the head and we are all members.
• We believe that Jesus Christ gave two ordinances to the Church: water baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Both are available to all believers.
• We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
