I HAVE MADE A DECISION TO
follow Jesus...
If you are reading this, it means that you have made a decision to recently begin a new relationship with Jesus Christ, which is the best decision you can make in your life.
In John 3:16 Jesus tells us:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
This is a great promise for our future in heaven, but God also promises us that He will bring blessing to our lives today.
In John 10:10 Jesus also says:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
What a powerful promise to us as a follower of Jesus, a Christians! Jesus has come to give us life so that we may have it in fullness. Maybe previously in your life you have experienced the effects of what a thief does – this thief comes to steal our joy and our hope and to wreak ruin on our lives. But we are grateful that we have entered into a new life with Christ and His promise is to bring life, hope and purpose to our lives.
Also, in 1 John 5:11-12 , John tells us
11 And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.
Since you have Jesus, you have eternal life! How amazing is this. This is such an exciting time for you, and definitely not something that we would want you to celebrate alone; there are four things that we would encourage you to do, following your decision to follow Jesus:
